Kevin is a former US Marine Sniper that co founded LOV with his wife for two reasons.
To enjoy that sense of pride and service he’s missed since his days in the Corps and to help his fellow veterans that need support/assistance. When he’s not helping Gini operate the thrift store, Kevin enjoys lake Norman, playing with his dogs, and cooking dinner for the family while jamming to Led Zeppelin.
Gini is responsible for marketing, accounting, promotions, volunteer selection/scheduling, special events with other non-profits, and qualifying veteran applicants. When Gini isn't at the store squeezing out every last dime to help a veteran, she enjoys going out on the jetski, listening to live music, and playing with Scout - a German Shepherd that was donated by a shopper!
Dave has been a Director of Sales for most of his career, offering infrastructure technology to the home builder industry. Dave is our right-hand man for our largest project yet - a partnership with Purple Heart Homes to build a brand new home for a Vietnam veteran. During his free time, Dave goes out on Lake Norman with his large family and loves riding anything with a motor, including motorcycles, snow mobiles, jet skis, boats, go-karts, and ATV's.
Shawn is a disabled Air Force veteran that has been helping L.O.V. since the very beginning. Shawn enjoys his career in microscope sales while traveling the east coast when he is not helping at the store. When he finds free time, Shawn spends it on the lake with his wife and two dogs.
Terry is a retired U.S. Air Force Flight Engineer. He flew C-141's and KC-10's all across the globe. He holds an MBA in Aviation. Terry has been volunteering his time and expertise at L.O.V. since the doors first opened in July 2022. He takes pride in helping local veterans when they need it most.
Tim has held several senior roles in the energy industry. Holding a BA in Political Science and Economics from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA with an emphasis in Energy from UNC-Charlotte, Tim currently works as Senior Vice President of Development at Hep Global. He also serves as President of West Lake Prepatory Academy and Sherrils Ford-Dry Pond Rotary Club. When not out improving his community, Tim can be found on the lake with his wife and two kids.
